Full Time Training
Walters Kennels’ training general program includes: obedience and fetching commands, collar conditioning, simple and advanced baseball work, land and water patterns, single, double, and triple marks, and blind work. The training program is varied according to each dog’s temperament.
Walters Kennels provides the dogs Interceptor, food, and utilizes local KSU vets when necessary. Owners should have dogs current on heart-worm checks and vaccinations and bring the veterinary records when admitting their dogs for training. Since Doug does not campaign dogs full time, Doug provides full time training. With very few exceptions, Doug is training dogs seven days a week, 365 days a year. Owners are encouraged to train frequently with their dogs as well. Walters Kennels offers day training and boarding as well as their retriever training.
